Well the hols after 6 sem were spent agonizing over whether I should/shouldn’t join TIME for classroom coaching. The place where I was doing my engg from (Vellore) didn’t offer much by way of choice. Infact even the setup the TIME people had there was makeshift with teachers coming down from Chennai every week for the classes and heading back after the classes.
Anyways finally I made up my mind about joining TIME and probably that was one of the best decisions I have taken till now. The kind of person that I am the most difficult thing would have been instilling the discipline required for such kind of preparation and TIME really helped me achieve that. Or atleast the guilt of having spent 14k of my dad's hard earned money did!!
The first fortnight of June was spent preparing for placement exams and interviews. That in itself is a pretty interesting story but probably this is not the right place for it.
Anyways once I got placed, I paid up the money for TIME and enrolled myself for their classroom program. I knew by then (after looking at the results of previous year's open AIMCAT) that quants was going to be the weakest link of my preparation.
In the following posts I will take you through a journey of my AIMCATs and my scores.
