I left for home immediately after the class following the AIMCAT. Reached home sometime Monday afternoon. Cooled off at home after what seemed like an eternity away from home (It had been just 3 and a half months but the hectic schedule really took its toll)
Was back for the final run to the CAT hurdle.

"DISASTER
Probably because had recently come back from home,
But still pathetic effort
%ile-> 85"
I don’t think there was any point in my life where I had felt so down and out, atleast that’s what and how I was thinking at that point of time.
And what happened next Saturday wasn’t something I had expected in my wildest dreams.
It all started with a telephone call.
I got a call from an unknown number on Saturday morning. I picked up the phone and the voice on the other hand said
"Hello, Amit Tyagi??" I replied " Ya this is Amit Tyagi, may I know who is this"
The voice at the other end introduced itself as Raghunath from Time Chennai. It wont be an exaggeration if I say my jaw touched the floor.
As much as I would love to recount that whole conversation, the fact is it would not make for much interesting reading, therefore will just give you the gist of the conversation.
He said that they at the Chennai office had been tracking our (me and three others from Vellore center) performance in the AIMCATs and were planning some special sessions in Chennai. Our AIMCATs would be conducted in Chennai itself and after that there would be these sessions. He asked me to get in tough with Sripriya, Priyank and Yuvaraj (the other guys who were also called for the sessions)
And that was it. This little telephone call changed my weekends for weeks to come. Exactly how, you will find in the subsequent posts!!
